Very talented group I’ve recently stumbled upon.
Having not been a rabid Michael Jackson fan his absence has been felt ’round the world and will continue to be so. He wrote songs that will last for hundreds of years, I think, inspiring and bringing people closer together. This video while a blatant attempt to capitalize on his tragic death will be something to not miss in my opinion. It looks as though it will not only showcase the preparations for the last series of concerts I think Michael probably would have performed but it looks like it will
shine a light on his better side which most of the last generations of the kids have not been acquainted with due to the overshadowing negative presence he has been shown in through the media. I for one will be going to see it and I hope you do too.
As I sit here waiting for the EQ2 client to finish installing I was going to start converting my home server over to ESXi 4.0 to better utilize some of the hardware I have in it but as it turns out my network card is not supported by software. Thus making the lack
of planning for this project very apparent. There are two things I intended to do with this project one was to convert the base OS of the server and two was to change my home domain server over to Windows 2008 R2 and setup a .local as to not interfere with my forth coming .com website. It looks as though I’m going to be waiting and as I sit here and write I’m wondering if I should even attempt to be compatible with free software that really has very little home use for me apart from allowing me to setup
and kill servers at will which as I type this I have essentially convince myself to buy a couple of NICs that are compatible and install ESXi instead of proceeding ahead and installing R2.
On another note as I sit a good friend of mine called and I noticed that Skype now has
full Windows integration. Which means that when he called I had Phil Collins playing through Windows Media Player and the second I answered the music paused. When he hung up it took off again right where it left off. It was very cool and another reason I am loving Windows 7. This is the OS we were promised in 2007 and it looks like Microsoft
is going to deliver this time around.
Well its with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to … LOL well I can’t quite say it that way. I’ve decided to cancel my EVE
Online subscription and head back to Everquest 2. It was pretty easy to do since I have friends playing EQ2 right now and no one I know IRL except the Canadian dude (who wasn’t around much), that helped me get started, plays EVE.
EVE is very fun game at first because it is so drastically different then anything else out there. You need skills to fly ships but those skills can train 23/7/365 while you are playing with the stuff you do qualify for or not playing at all. Progress is swift and steady at first so you get to experience a quickly changing new world but then it all of a sudden comes to a crashing halt when all your skills suddenly cost 5 million (5,000,000) ISK each and they take 6+ days to train to the level you need. This is when a good guild or group of friends would continue to make the game interesting and without that well I just can’t keep playing. If you need a good game that is fun and exciting and you have the need to be able to walk away and still make progress then EVE is a game for you.
Everquest is well Ever”crack” and it will always be so. The grand daddy of all current MMO’s and its child EQ2 is a direct
copy with upgraded graphics. Its a fun game to and it will be ever more so because of my friends that I will be able to experience things with. Join us on ventrilo sometime @ vent.equitasguild.org. Email me for the password.
I know its probably a big shocker that I would support such a dream as this working for who I do but it would be nice if we could all get along some day. If we could all realize that we are, at our core, all the same regardless of all our visual and idealogical diversity.
